How to Apply (Easy Steps)

• Go to the Website: Open your browser and go to www.jkssb.nic.in.
• Apply Online Only: You can only apply through the internet. Do not send any paper or hard copy to the office.
• Important Dates: You can start filling the form from February 1, 2026. The last date to finish is March 2, 2026. Apply early to avoid website heavy load.
• Fill Personal Details: Father’s Name, Mother’s Name, and Date of Birth exactly as they appear on your Matriculation certificate.
• No Changes Later: Be very careful. Once you submit the form, you cannot change anything later.
• Check Photos: Upload a clear photo and signature. The Board will reject your application if you upload a blurred or unclear photograph.
• Pay the Fee: You must pay the fee online using Net Banking, Debit Card, or Credit Card. JKSSB will summarily reject any application submitted without the prescribed exam fee.
• Save the Printout: After finishing, take a printout of your application form. You will need it later during document checking.

Things to Keep Ready

When you go for the exam or document checking, you must have:

• Two Photos: Two recent color photos (not older than 6 months).
• Valid ID: An original ID like Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, PAN Card, or Driving License .
• Domicile: You must have a Domicile Certificate of Jammu & Kashmir.
