  • First, you download your JPSC Pre Admit Card 2026 from the website of the Commission.
  • You must carry a valid photo identity card (such as Aadhar Card) to ensure your identity.
  • You should keep all the original mark sheets ready at the time of interview as per the claims filled in the online application.
  • To avail the benefit of reservation, you should present your original caste certificate issued by the competent authority.

  • Step 4: Click on the “Download Admit Card/Exam City” button to see the information about your Exam City.

Q1. How many question papers will there be in JPSC preliminary exam?
Ans: There will be a total of two compulsory papers (General Studies I and II) in the preliminary examination. , each question paper 200 marks and you will get 2 hours to solve them.

Answer: The Commission has clarified that there will be no negative marking in the preliminary examination. If you choose two options for a question, the Commission will consider it as a wrong answer.

Ans: General category candidates will have to obtain minimum 40% marks in aggregate. On the contrary, the minimum qualifying marks for Scheduled Caste, Tribe and Women candidates is set at 32%.

Answer: No, only the permanent residents of Jharkhand state will get the benefit of reservation.

 

Ans: It is mandatory to carry the admit card, the original and a photocopy of a photo identity card, and a black ballpoint pen.
