Important Dates

The online application process starts on 17 November 2025 and remains open until 14 December 2025. Candidates must complete the application form and submit the required fee within the same deadline. Fees Details

Candidates applying for AFCAT 01/2026 are required to pay an application fee as prescribed in the official notification. The application fee is ₹550 for all candidates and must be paid through online modes such as debit card, credit card, or net banking. Applications submitted without successful fee payment will not be accepted, so candidates are advised to complete the payment process before the last date.

Age Criteria

For AFCAT 01/2026 recruitment, the age limit varies according to the branch applied for. Candidates applying for the Flying Branch must be between 20 and 24 years of age, while those applying for Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical) branches must be between 20 and 26 years. The age will be calculated as on 01 January 2027. Age relaxation will be applicable for reserved category candidates as per Government rules.

Required Eligibility

The educational qualification for AFCAT 01/2026 is different for each branch and post. For the Flying Branch, candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics and hold a Graduation degree or BE/B.Tech with the required minimum marks. For Ground Duty (Technical) posts, a relevant Engineering degree is mandatory. Ground Duty (Non-Technical) posts require Graduation or Post-Graduation as specified in the official notification. Candidates are advised to check the detailed eligibility criteria before applying.
