Chandigarh Administration has released the official notification for the posts of Clerk and Steno-Typist. The department has announced a total of 257 vacancies, which includes 234 posts for Clerk and 23 posts for Steno-Typist. Interested candidates can submit online applications till 26 April 2026.It is mandatory for you to have a bachelor’s degree.Candidates must also submit 80 Hours Computer Course (CCC) certificate. The department will conduct two written examinations for selection, which include subjects like General Knowledge, Mathematics and English. Candidates selected under Chandigarh Clerk & Steno Recruitment 2026 will get attractive salary as per the Seventh Pay Commission. Pay level 2 is fixed for clerk and pay level 3 is fixed for steno-typist.
