Jharkhand JHTET Notification 2026: Apply Online Link Activating Soon

Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has given a golden opportunity for primary and upper primary school candidates. The department has recently released Jharkhand JHTET Notification 2026. According to government information, you can apply online for Jharkhand Teacher Eligibility Test (JTET). The process of filling the online form will start from 21st April 2026 and will continue till 21st May 2026. This time under Jharkhand JHTET Notification 2026, many new rules and options for language selection added to the manual. Before applying, candidates should understand their eligibility and rules in depth. Candidates applied under Advertisement No. 30/2024 will also have to fill the new form again. old applicants will not have to pay the examination fee again. Keep in mind  this is just an eligibility test you cannot directly claim a job. To be successful in the examination, mandatory for the candidates to obtain the percentage of marks according to their category.

Educational Qualifications TET Notification

Classes Education Qulification 
 Primary Level (Classes 1 To 5)

  • 10+2 (Inter) with 50% + 2-Year Diploma in Elementary Education (B.T.C./D.El.Ed.)

  • 10+2 (Inter) with 45% (As per NCTE Norms 2002) + 2-Year Diploma in Elementary Education.
  • 10+2 (Inter) with 50% + 4-Year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.)
  • 0+2 (Inter) with 50% + 2-Year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
  • Bachelor’s Degree + 2-Year Diploma in Elementary Education (B.T.C./D.El.Ed.)
Junior Level  (Classes 6 To 8)

  • D.El.Ed: Bachelor Degree + 2-Year Diploma (B.T.C./D.El.Ed.)

  • B.Ed: Bachelor Degree (50% Marks) + B.Ed/L.T./Shiksha Shastri.

  • B.Ed (NCTE): Bachelor Degree (45% Marks) + B.Ed (As per NCTE Norms).

  • 10+2 + B.El.Ed: 12th (50% Marks) + 4-Year Bachelor of Elementary Education.
  • 12th + Integrated Course: 12th (50% Marks) + 4-Year B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed.
  • B.Ed (Special): Bachelor Degree (50% Marks) + B.Ed (Special Education).
  • Post Graduate + Integrated: Master Degree (55% Marks) + 3-Year B.Ed-M.Ed Course.

How to Apply

  • Registration: First create your new account on the portal and enter your basic information.
  • Fill the Details: Fill all your educational and training qualifications correctly in the application form.
  • Selection of Language: Specially note that it is mandatory for you to choose Language-I and Language-II as per the rules.
  • Old Applicants: If you had earlier applied for Advertisement No. 30/2024, then you should also fill the form again, you will not have to pay the fee.
  • Document Upload: Upload your latest photograph and signature in the prescribed format.
  • Fee Payment: Pay the examination fee through net banking or card as per your category.

Q1. When will the online applications for Jharkhand JHTET 2026 start?

Ans: The online application process will start from 21st April 2026. Along with this, eligible candidates can complete their registration by 21st May 2026.
